My introduction to guiding came when I volunteered my services in charity auctions. Despite being unsure what to expect I really enjoyed it and have now decided to pursue angling guiding and tuition as a career. Whilst best known for my tench and bream catches I have caught specimen fish of many species and I am offering tuition for most species. My philosophy is very much one of showing you methods and tactics that work and involve you in them so you understand the reasoning behind them. Whilst every attempt will be made to catch fish during the session if all you are interested in is catching a new PB on the day stop reading now! I will regard success as receiving a phone call or message in the future saying you've put what you learnt into action and have caught something special!

Initially I shall be concentrating on guiding for tench and bream and in the near future I will be offering packages for other species including barbel and pike fishing. More details will be added on this site shortly, but in the meantime if there is any  specific tuition you would like contact me via the contact page here.
Two suggestions are detailed below but I am happy to discuss tuition on a water of your choice if you prefer.
Tench fishing on Linear. In recent years I have caught both big tench and big bags of tench from the lakes at Linear Fisheries near Witney, Oxfordshire. As a guide to prices a 24 hour session on one of the day ticket lakes will cost £300 which includes day ticket and bait. The sessions will cover tackle, rigs, swim selection, feature finding and much more. If you want to arrange a shorter session such as a day only please contact me.

Bream fishing on Bluebell Lake. Bluebell contains a good head of bream in the 5-7lb range and is the ideal venue to learn the tactics to fish for big bream.  As a guide to prices a 24 hour session will cost £240 which includes day ticket and bait. The sessions will cover tackle, rigs, swim selection, and much more.
